"BEST FOOD WE HAVE EVER HAD!"

My husband and I have been eating at Marco Polo for over 10 years and have always enjoyed our experience. The combination of food and atmosphere is the best on the island hands down. We have always liked the fact that some places dont change due to the fact we are creatures of comfort. This place hasn't changed, at least so we thought. Going threw the menu we noticed some changes that looked wonderful and suprising. My husband always go for grouper and I most often get veal picatta, not this time. I saw they have a chef menu and i asked our server about it, he said they are our new chefs features and they change often. He suggested the scallop dish, so I ordered it and my husband who never goes off coarse went for scallops as well. "Let me tell you that the scallops where the best I ever had in my life". My husband said it reminded him of our last visit to New Orleans, it had such a southern French flair and taste. We asked our server if he had time to come and talk with us, he said he will come out and say hi if we ordered dessert. We both laughed and then ordered our favorite bananas fosters. lol

I felt like we where bothering him but he was so kind to come say hi and talk for a bit even thu he was busy. We just want to thank the chef and servers for a great time and tell everyone that you well enjoy your time at Marco Polo.

"Top of my list"

As a new resident to the area I wanted to know where the locals choose to dine. The Marco Polo Restaurant was top on the list of my friends. I think the reasons for their choice are simple: Great service, an exceptional chef, outstanding food, comfortable fine dining atmosphere, and an overall experience that is relaxed and friendly. The Polo is now my favorite restaurant on the island as well. I highly recommend it!
